Members Approve Merger of two Nova Scotia Credit Unions
At a special meeting held on November 4th members of East Coast Credit Union and the Provincial Government Employees Credit Union voted in favour of merging their two credit unions. The official merger date is January 1, 2025. The new credit union will hold assets of $1.5 billion and serve 45,000 members from 20 branches across Nova Scotia, including a digital branch.
