The Virtual Branch allows you to remotely access most of the services you would normally have to visit a physical branch to access.

    What is the Virtual Branch?

    It is an important digital extension of our physical branch network, providing our members with yet another reliable, convenient, and safe way to connect and bank with East Coast Credit Union from anywhere.

    How is it different than the Member Advice Centre (MAC)?

    The Virtual Branch and the Member Advice Centre are one in the same. We’ve made the decision to formalize this service offering and use the name “Virtual Branch” to better reflect the nature of what the service is: and that is, an extension of our physical branch network. Through the Virtual Branch we are able to provide the same level of expertise and support you would expect from your local branch to East Coast Credit Union members all over the world.

    Is the Virtual Branch basically just a call center?

    East Coast Credit Union’s Virtual Branch is not a call center and is staffed by real, local East Coast Credit Union employees. It’s a decentralized department made up of banking experts operating out of various locations across our branch network right here in Nova Scotia.

    Does this mean you’re moving away from physical branches?

    No, in fact the Virtual Branch is an extension of our physical branch network, improving access and providing another way for our members to connect directly with our team of expert financial advisors.

    What can the Virtual Branch help me do?

    Aside from physical cash transactions, the Virtual Branch allows you to do just about anything you would do at a physical branch. Our Virtual Branch provides a wide variety of services to members, from loans, mortgages, and investments, to answering your everyday banking questions. We even offer convenient, live video appointments with East Coast Credit Union branch employees.
